About Me

My name is Evan Byrne and I am a website developer from Lapeer, MI. I have been designing websites for as long as I can remember, I stopped counting after about 4 years.

I have a strong background in IT and I actually competed in a national level competition this June for computer networking and got 7th place out of about a thousand contestants nation wide. In 2008 I got my CompTIA A+ IT Technician certification and I am currently working on getting my CCNA.

What got me into website design in the first place was my involvement in Lego Robotics. I wanted a way to showcase my amazing creations to the world. So, for my birthday my parents got me a book on designing websites. Thus EvanBot.com was born. The robots no longer remain here though; I have another website for that.

I've built many complex websites in my young life.

I excel in both the design and programming aspects of building websites. I have programmed guest books, forums, photo galleries, user portals, database systems, blogs, shopping carts, a framework, and more all from scratch. If you need a custom system to run your website you have come to the right guy.

I live in a small town that probably is home to the most amazing people on earth. When I'm not building websites I'm usually hanging out with my great friends or working on the family farm.

God is an important part of my life, without him I would not be where I am now. I'm a practicing Catholic and I attend the High School youth group at my church every Wednesday in addition to mass. Youth group is like the weekend in the middle of the week, I'm always looking forward to it.
